How fast can TaterBalls be thrown?
The baseball simulates a 90+ MPH fastball out of a pitching machine, tested with the Hack Attack and Spinball Wizard, and works for curves, sliders and more. The softball simulates a 70+ MPH fastball out of a Hack Attack and handles drop, rise, and screwball.
Will TaterBalls work in my pitching machine?
Yes. They're built specifically for pitching machine work and are used in Sports Attack, Spinball, JUGS, and Sports Tutor machines. If you're running a Hack Attack or Junior Hack Attack, they're what we put in our own package deals.
Are they safe for wood bats?
Yes. Train with your game bat or your wood bat without worrying about breaking it. That's one of the biggest reasons people switch.

Nothing. In testing, a TaterBall was submerged underwater for 14 hours and did not gain an ounce. Leather balls soak, soften, and change flight; these don't.
